SAN ANTONIO, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- "Desperate Housewife" Eva Longoria denies hurling a racial slur at a San Antonio police officer who ticketed her Spurs star boyfriend.
The officer who confronted Spurs guard Tony Parker for impeding traffic on Christmas Eve claims Longoria called him "a Mexican bike cop" and lobbed an expletive at him as well, the San Antonio Express-News reported Monday.
"It's a shame that one officer conducted himself in such an inappropriate and disorderly manner," Longoria said in a statement. "I never made any sort of racial slurs, let alone made any comments about the officer being Mexican, as a Mexican myself."
Through her publicist, Longoria said the the police report was "highly inaccurate," adding she and Parker "respect and love the community and the San Antonio Police Department."
Parker received two traffic citations. Longoria was not cited.
