Jack White's going to be a dad

DETROIT, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- White Stripes frontman Jack White and his wife, model Karen Elson, Tuesday announced they are expecting their first child.

The baby is due in the spring, a rep for Elson told MTV.com.

It will be the first child for White and Elson.

The couple wed in June in Manaus, Brazil.

White was previously married to his White Stripes bandmate, Meg White.
