DreamWorks plans figure skating comedy

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Talks are under way to have Will Ferrell and Jon Heder star as disgraced figure skaters in DreamWorks' comedy "Blades of Glory."

Will Arnett and Amy Poehler are already on board for the film being produced by Ben Stiller's Red Hour Films and First Entertainment, The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday.

"Blades" is about two world-class men's figure skaters who are banned from the sport for brawling during the Winter Olympics. Tired of toiling in obscurity, they find a loophole in the terms of their suspension and team up to compete in the pairs figure skating category, The Reporter said.

Arnett and Poehler will play a rival pairs duo.
