The duo -- best known for '70s hits such as "Your Mama Don't Dance," "Danny's Song," "Thinking of You" and "My Music" -- toured together this year for the first time in 30 years, resulting in a live album and DVD, both titled "Sittin' In Again at the Santa Barbara Bowl." But neither musician is willing to predict a future together.
"We weren't trying to start a career again as Loggins & Messina," Loggins said. "It happened very naturally for us to get together."
Messina adds that both of the musicians are working "on our individual stuff" -- meaning solo albums -- but "we're both very open to the idea if something comes up that would work."
Messina says he has about 40 songs he's considering for his album, while Loggins is in "the very early stages" of his next project.
