Big screen's Weinsteins go a bit smaller

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- The Weinstein Co. is spinning its movies into TV series starting with "Sin City" and "Rounders," it was reported Monday.

"Sin City" will become a series after its theatrical sequel comes out in 2006, Empire magazine reported. Harvey and Bob will look at other films in their vast Hollywood catalog for TV projects and develop shows from scratch.

"Project Greenlight," the filmmaking reality show started by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, has also moved into the Weinstein realm.
