LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- "Blossom" star Mayim Bialik has given birth to a baby boy, People magazine reported Thursday.
It's the first child for Bialik and her husband, Michael Stone. The baby was born Tuesday, a representative told People.

"Mother and baby are both fine," the rep said.
Bialik starred as TV's "Blossom" from 1991 to 1995. After the show, Bialik went on to UCLA and earned a Ph.D. in neuroscience, which is where she met her husband, People said.
Bialik has recently done guest stints on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Fat Actress" and voiced the cartoons, "Kim Possible: The Secret Files" and "X2: Wolverine's Revenge."
