The film centers on Pacino's character, a college professor and FBI psychologist who is told he will be killed in 88 minutes.
Leelee Sobieski will play one of Pacino's students, Neal McDonough is a death row inmate who may have something to do with the plot and Alicia Witt is Pacino's teaching assistant and much younger lover.
The film is being shot under the direction of Jon Avnet of "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow."
