LONDON, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- British pop star Boy George returned home to London just days after being busted for cocaine possession at his apartment in New York.
The Culture Club singer could face up to 15 years in prison if he's convicted. He has a New York court date Dec. 19.
The 44-year-old New York DJ whose real name is George O'Dowd claims he is innocent and the cocaine found in his apartment was not his, Sky News reported Sunday.
George's former agent Tony Denton said the singer's sister told him George called police to his apartment early Friday because he thought someone was breaking in.
Police found cocaine sitting near a computer, then obtained a search warrant and reportedly found a quantity of the drug.
