Wal-Mart documentary en route to theaters

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- The production company run by Robert Greenwald says it has decided to distribute his Wal-Mart exposé to select theaters on its own.

Brave New Films will send to select U.S. theaters Nov. 4 the documentary, "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Prices," the Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday. It is the first film under the banner helmed by Greenwald.

The documentary is a critical look at Wal-Mart and its effect on local communities, the Reporter said.

Greenwald's other documentaries include the "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism" and "Uncovered: The War in Iraq."
