NEW YORK, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage and his wife, Alice Kim, welcomed their first child -- a son -- in New York Monday.
The parents have named their new addition Kal-El Coppola Cage, E! Online reported. Kal-el, by the way, is Superman's birth name.

"They are healthy and happy and it's quite lovely," Cage's publicist said in a statement.
It's the first child for Kim, 21, and the second for Cage, 41, who has a 14-year-old son from his relationship with actor Kristina Fulton.
Cage and Kim married in July 2004, two months after Cage's divorce from Lisa Marie Presley was finalized.
