NASHVILLE, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Pregnant country singer Mindy McCready was hospitalized in Nashville overnight for another drug overdose, it was reported Saturday.
McCready was in fair condition Friday night at Saint Thomas Hospital after taking 30 antidepressants, The Tennessean reported.
McCready reportedly took the pills during a telephone fight with the alleged father of her unborn child, Billy McKnight, who is out on bail for allegedly trying to kill her earlier this year, police said.
The police report says the couple argued over whether McKnight's parents were going to help pay McCready's medical bills for the pregnancy, the newspaper said.
McCready was hospitalized in Florida for a similar overdose in July, which led to her probation being revoked on Tennessee drug charges. She also faces criminal charges in Arizona stemming from an alleged carjacking and abduction.
