LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh has been named Network Syndicated Personality of the Year by the National Association of Broadcasters.
Limbaugh received his fourth Marconi during the NAB's 2005 Marconi Radio Awards Dinner and Show in Los Angeles Thursday. The award is named for inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi.
"I would like to once again thank my audience for making this possible," Limbaugh said. "Their loyalty and support are unprecedented and I am grateful."
"The Rush Limbaugh Show" airs on nearly 600 radio stations with an estimated 20 million listeners per week, according to Premiere Radio Networks, which distributes the show.
