'Lost,' 'Raymond' take top Emmys

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- ABC's freshman adventure series "Lost" was named TV's best drama at the 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night.

"Everybody Loves Raymond," which celebrated its ninth and final season on CBS, took the outstanding comedy series trophy.

Felicity Huffman beat her "Desperate Housewives" co-stars Marcia Cross and Teri Hatcher to take the award for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series. "Monk's" Tony Shalhoub took his second Emmy for best actor in a comedy series.

Patricia Arquette was named outstanding lead actress in a drama for Fox TV's "Medium" and "Boston Legal" star James Spader won best actor in a drama for the second year in a row.

HBO's "Warm Springs" was named outstanding made for TV movie and the outstanding miniseries Emmy went to PBS and the BBC for Masterpiece Theater's "The Lost Prince."
