LONDON, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- "Bohemian Rhapsody" is the front-runner in the British section of a Sony Ericsson poll seeking fans' 100 favorite songs worldwide.
However, the 1975 Queen classic has so far failed to even break into the worldwide Top 10, The Sun reported Saturday.
The No. 1 song picked worldwide is "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana.
"It's been fascinating to watch the results globally and compare music choices," Sony Ericsson U.K. & Ireland Managing Director Peter Marsden said.
Malaysian music fans chose Akon's "Lonely." Spain's top choice is "Sultans of Swing" by Dire Straits, and Michael Jackson's "Thriller" is the No. 1 song in Germany.
The survey -- marking the release of Sony's first Walkman mobile phone -- is open for voting www.walkmanphones100.com until Sept. 22.
