NEW YORK, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Actor Brad Pitt "played dad" while girlfriend Angelina Jolie filmed "The Good Shepherd" in New York, it was reported Tuesday.
Pitt -- with a baby bottle in his back pocket -- held the hand of Jolie's adopted son, Maddox, 4, and cradled her adopted daughter, Zahara, 7 months, while Jolie shot scenes with co-star Matt Damon Monday, the New York Post reported.

Pitt and Jolie, who reportedly started their relationship while filming "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," recently set up housekeeping together in California.
Pitt's divorce from Jennifer Aniston was finalized this month.
