LOS ANGELES, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Fans of NBC's popular "Will & Grace" are being warned not to expect a spinoff after the comedy series finishes its eighth and final season.
TV Guide Online reported Thursday when asked if Jack and Karen would follow in the footsteps of Joey Tribbiani of "Friends" and Frasier Crane of "Cheers," the characters' portrayers Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally looked at each other and laughed.

"Um, I don't think so," Hayes said. "Never say never, but right now, no."
"Will & Grace" makes its season premiere Sept. 29.
