Bon Jovi and Carlos Santana will also perform Aug. 31 and be honored with special awards, Billboard.com reported. More performers as well as award presenters are yet to be announced.
A total 160 countries will televise the event, which will be shown in the United States over ABC on Sept. 13.
World Music Award winners are determined by sales figures certified by the International Federation of the Phonography Industry.
The annual event benefits the Monaco Aide and Presence Foundation, which builds orphanages, schools and hospitals for children in impoverished countries.
