'Survivor'

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- CBS TV Thursday announced the names of the 16 castaways competing among the ancient Mayan ruins during its upcoming season of "Survivor: Guatemala."

The 11th "Survivor" adventure is scheduled to kick off Sept. 15.

As previously reported, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Gary Hogeboom will be among those trying to outlast the others for the $1 million prize. Hogeboom, who turns 47 on Aug. 21, works in real estate in Grand Haven, Mich.

Other contenders include Brandon Bellinger, 22, a farmer from Manhattan, Kan.; sports radio host Danni Boatwright, 30, Tonganoxie, Kan.; nurse practitioner Margaret Bobonich, 43, Chardon, Ohio.

The cast also includes 22-year-old student Brian Corridon of New York; Naples, Fla., zookeeper Cindy Hall, 31; student Rafe Judkins, 22, Providence, R.I.; retired fire captain Jim Lynch, 63, Northglenn, Colo.; and Morgan McDevitt, 21, a magician's assistant in Decatur, Ill.

The lineup also features Lydia Morales, 43, a fishmonger from Lakewood, Wash.; Hollywood ski instructor Jamie Newton, 24; Revere, Mass. Police Sgt. Amy O'Hara, 39; Judd Sergeant, 34, a hotel doorman in Ridgefield, N.J.; student Brooke Struck, 26, Santa Monica, Calif.; model Blake Towsley, 24, Dallas; and makeup artist Brianna Varela, 21, Edmonds, Wash.
