CBS brings back Victoria's Secret special

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- CBS executives Thursday announced plans to bring back the racy "The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" during the coming TV season.

No date was given but it is expected to air sometime around the holidays, Zap2it.com reported.

The show featuring models wearing Victoria's Secret lingerie debuted on ABC in 2001 then moved to CBS for two years. It sparked a flood of indecency complaints after each airing, but the Federal Communications Commission did not issue any fines as a result.

Victoria's Secret decided not to do the special last year amid the indecency furor generated by Janet Jackson's Super Bowl "wardrobe malfunction." However, with the indecency debate waning, the decision was made to resurrect the special, which is popular among young viewers, Zap2it.com said.
