CBS orders up eight eps of 'Love Monkey'

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Jason Priestly, Thomas Cavanaugh and Judy Greer are all part of "Love Monkey," a CBS midseason dramady about relationships.

The Michael Rauch series revolves around four friends in various stages of relationships as seen from the perspective of a single friend who works in the music industry, the Hollywood Reporter said.

Russ Krasnoff of Sony Pictures TV called "Love Monkey" a "passion project."

CBS ordered eight episodes for the midseason, the Reporter said.
