Matthew Perry to star in TNT movie

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- "Friends" star Matthew Perry will star in the TNT original movie, "The Ron Clark Story," it was announced Tuesday.

Clark won Disney's 2000 Teacher of the Year Award for his work in East Harlem, N.Y., the Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday.

Perry will portray Clark in the movie based on the teacher's real life experiences, TNT said.
