Lynda Carter's thoughts on 'Wonder Woman'

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Former TV "Wonder Woman" Lynda Carter says both Sandra Bullock and Catherine Zeta Jones are too old to bring her comic book heroine to the big screen.

Bullock, 41, and Zeta Jones, 35, have been frequently mentioned in Hollywood scuttlebutt surrounding the not yet in progress project.

While out promoting her new film, "Sky High," Carter told reporters a "fresh face" needs to put on her famously worn superhero costume, MSNBC reported Monday.

"People have talked about Sandra Bullock but she's too old and so is Catherine Zeta-Jones. You want someone that is really fresh," Carter said.

She said she looks back at her old series and is amazed.

"Oh, my God, I think, she had a great body," she said of her younger days. "Where has that gone?"
