Boeing 'stealth' plane featured in movie

SAN DIEGO, July 16 (UPI) -- A full-scale model of Boeing's robotic aircraft, the X-45C, will be featured at the world premier of "Stealth," a film about a rogue drone.

The film's trailer indicates the aircraft is struck by lightning and its artificial intelligent computer then threatens to start a war, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Saturday.

The X-45C, St. Louis-constructed, model will be displayed at Sunday's premiere, during which "Stealth" stars Jamie Foxx, Josh Lucas and Jessica Biel will arrive in F/A-18 Super Hornets.

The movie debuts at the Naval Air Station in San Diego and will open nationwide July 29.

Boeing's X-45A unmanned planes have flown numerous missions in California, the Post-Dispatch said. The first flight for the more advanced X-45C is set for 2007.
