Fans line up for London Live 8 tickets

LONDON, June 29 (UPI) -- Fans lined up to get tickets to London's Live 8 concert in Hyde Park, where a wall will keep non-ticket holders from seeing Saturday's African aid music fest.

The concerts in eight countries are an attempt to push Group of Eight summit leaders to forgive Third World debt and increase aid to Africa when they meet in Scotland July 6-8.

Another 55,000 tickets were released for the London concert, for which 150,000 people already had secured tickets to the free show.

The additional tickets will allow people to watch performers such as Paul McCartney, Madonna and Robbie Williams on huge screens at Hyde Park, Sky News reported.
