"The English Roses," aimed for children over the age of 6, was published in 2003 and has sold more than 500,000 copies worldwide. It follows four 11-year-old friends who are all "a little bit jealous of another girl in the neighborhood" -- a character based on Madonna's daughter, Lourdes.

Each of Madonna's children's books is based on the teachings of the Kabbalah faith.
