LOS ANGELES, June 12 (UPI) -- "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," which topped the U.S. box office after grossing more than $51 million Sunday, may be three different kinds movies rolled into one.
The movie, starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, combines high-powered action movie mayhem -- with lots of explosions -- with comedy built around the verbal repartee of the two leads, all rolled into a love story, reported MTV.com.

The couple, who have sought counseling because the spark has left their marriage, have been keeping secrets from one another -- they're both high-level assassins working for rival spy agencies.
John and Jane Smith eventually come clean about some things.
"I wasn't in the Peace Corps," she confesses.
"I didn't go to M.I.T.," he admits.
