LOS ANGELES, June 10 (UPI) -- A German concert promoter is gearing up to file another lawsuit against embattled pop star Michael Jackson, Pollstar reported in an exclusive Friday.

Marcel Avram successfully sued Jackson for $5.5 million plus costs in Santa Maria, Calif., three years ago for failing to perform at two concerts.

Now, he told Pollstar he is suing Jackson again.

Avram would not detail the new suit or say what sparked it, but told Pollstar everything would become public in about two weeks.

Jackson is currently on trial in Santa Maria criminal court for allegedly molesting a 13-year-old cancer patient, giving him alcohol and holding his family captive.

The jury was meeting a sixth day Friday to try and reach a verdict in the case. Jackson has pleaded innocent to all the charges.

There has been speculation Jackson would go out on tour if he is acquitted in the criminal trial. His last U.S. concert tour was in 1988.
