NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., June 7 (UPI) -- Vera Wang, John Varvatos and Marc Jacobs took top honors at 2005 Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in New York City.
Wang was named Womenswear Designer of the Year, Varvatos was Menswear Designer of the Year and Marc Jacobs was named Accessory Designer of the Year at the Monday night ceremony at the New York Public Library.
Designer Diane Von Furstenberg was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Lanvin Artistic Director Alber Elbaz received the International Award, model Kate Moss received the Award for Fashion Influence and designer Norma Kamali received the Board of Directors' Special Tribute.
