Schwimmer: Fatherhood will make me happy

LOS ANGELES, May 3 (UPI) -- David Schwimmer says he likes to keep his acting schedule full because he falls into depression when he's relaxing at his Los Angeles home.

The former "Friends" star says fulfillment of his career ambitions have failed to lift his bleak outlook on life, and he he'll only find true happiness when he becomes a father, the World Entertainment News Network reported Tuesday.

"It's a question that I ask myself a lot. I think I have moments of happiness, but I'm not generally happy," he said.

"I distract myself with work, rather than finding a kind of peace or happiness, which still eludes me. Basically, I don't think I'll truly be happy until I'm a father and a husband. There's a part of me that thinks, did the celebrity thing, did the entertainment thing, done plays, done TV, done film -- done it."
