Rob Thomas claims top of Billboard 200

LOS ANGELES, April 27 (UPI) -- Rob Thomas' "Something To Be" debuted Wednesday at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, the first male artist from a pop or rock group to achieve such an honor.

Mariah Carey's "The Emancipation of Mimi" slipped to second and rapper Mike Jones' debut of "Who Is Mike Jones?" came in next.

Pop-classical quartet Il Divo bowed at No. 4 with a self-titled song, and "The Massacre" by 50 Cent claimed No. 5, just ahead of Gwen Stefani's "Love, Angel, Music, Baby."

The Killers' "Hot Fuss" climbed to seventh as Green Day's "American Idiot" retained its No. 8 ranking.

The 18th installment of "NOW That's What I Call Music!" dipped to ninth, and Sony's CD/DVD soundtrack "Three 6 Mafia Presents: Choices II: The Set Up" took the No. 10 spot.
