Munch's paintings Madonna and The Scream were stolen last summer from Oslo's Munch Museum.
The unidentified suspect was arrested outside his home. Two other suspects in the robbery are also in custody.
The paintings haven't been recovered, but police say they believe they're still in Oslo, the newspaper said.
