Carol King songs may play Broadway

LAS VEGAS, April 20 (UPI) -- Rita Rudner says she wants to take the music of songwriter Carole King to Broadway, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

Rudner, who celebrated her anniversary at the New York-New York casino in Las Vegas Wednesday, was working with husband and manager Martin Bergman and a producer of the musical "Mamma Mia!" to put together a Broadway review of King's catalog of music.

Rudner, who had solid sales of 500,000 tickets during four years, has one year left on her contract at New York-New York.
