NEW YORK, March 22 (UPI) -- The Gap's summer advertising taps models and soul singer Joss Stone instead of "Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker, the Wall Street Journal said.
The clothing retailer, which signed a multiyear pact with Parker, said that contract was "unique" and it would not sign another single person to a multiple year deal.

No company can afford to keep one face for too long in the world of fashion, a branding expert told the newspaper.
Joss and the teenage soul singer's music will be featured in new Gap ads this summer.
