LOS ANGELES, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- The first full-length trailer for Buena Vista Pictures' "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" has debuted at Amazon.com
It is the first time a film studio has used a Web site to carry the world premiere a trailer, Zap2it.com reports.

The trailer introduces the humble Arthur Dent, played by Martin Freeman of "The Office" and "Shaun of the Dead," as the only human to survive the demolition of Earth by aliens who are making way for a hyperspace freeway. He hooks up with a band of intergalactic nomads trying to find the meaning of life.
Based on the best-selling novel by Douglas Adams, "Hitchhiker's Guide" opens nationwide April 29.
