NEW YORK, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- A former star of "Dharma and Greg" says she intends to make Scientology as accessible to as many people as possible.
Jenna Elfman, a devout follower of Scientology, also told the religious group's magazine Celebrity that in Hollywood, with success, she had faced plenty of "suppression," MSNBC reported Tuesday.
She said it is my "duty to clear the planet." An article on February 15 wrongly attributed an explanation of this term to her. By "clearing" she means to help people rid themselves of negative emotions to create a world without insanity, criminality, or war.
Elfman lobbied actively last year for the Prohibition on Mandatory Medication Amendment that banned schools from requiring children to take psychiatric drugs such as Ritalin. The amendment was part of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act signed into law by President Bush last September.
