LOS ANGELES, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Gamemaker Atari will publish "The Matrix: The Path of Neo" for PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC this fall, The Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday.

The paper said the company will publish the game as part of its exclusive licensing agreement for "The Matrix" movie franchise with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

The new game will be based on the three "Matrix" films. Shiny Entertainment -- which previously created the game "Enter the Matrix" -- is creating the new game in partnership with Atari, Andy and Larry Wachowski and Joel Silver.

The new game will feature the likenesses of Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss and Hugo Weaving, as well as footage from all three films and "The Animatrix" shorts the filmmakers created along with the feature films.
