Lohan to work with Streep

HOLLYWOOD, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Actress Lindsay Lohan will play Meryl Streep's daughter in a new film that begins shooting in April, teenhollywood.com reports.

The Robert Altman film, "A Prairie Home Companion," is about a small-town country music station. The movie will feature offbeat musicians Lyle Lovett and Tom Waits.

Lohan has played daughter to Jamie Lee Curtis in "Freaky Friday" and Natasha Richardson in "The Parent Trap."
