Lucy Liu opens Harrods' January sale

LONDON, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Lucy Liu officially opened January sales Monday at Harrods in London, Hellomagazine.com reported Monday.

Liu, star of "Charlie's Angels" and "Kill Bill," arrived at the store in a horse-drawn carriage with two puppies in tow. She smiled and waved to the crowd of waiting shoppers. The doors opened after the traditional 9 a.m. countdown.

Harrods chairman Mohammad al Fayed greeted Liu and took her on a tour of the store's bargains.
