Robert Duvall in tobacco satire

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Robert Duvall has joined the cast of "Thank You for Smoking," a satire about Big Tobacco, The Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday.

The paper said the Oscar-winning star of "Tender Mercies" and "The Godfather" will join Katie Holmes ("Dawson's Creek") and Aaron Eckhart ("Erin Brockovich") in the cast. "Thank You for Smoking" is being directed by Jason Reitman -- the son of producer-director Ivan Reitman -- from his own adaptation of Christopher Buckley's book of the same name.
