LOS ANGELES, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Pop singer Pink has announced her plans to open her private diary and star and produce a big screen adaptation of her life, TeenHollywood.com said.

The punky performer made the decision following the postponement of a planned biographical film of 1960s icon Janis Joplin, starring Pink as the gravelly voiced singer.
She said despite her limited acting experience -- a cameo role in "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" -- "The Diary of Pink" will be a success.
