Woman stalker terrorizes George Michael

LONDON, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- British singer George Michael asked police to help with a female stalker who is flooding him with bizarre e-mail messages, The Mirror said Thursday.

The obsessed fan first struck when she got around security and broke into George's $4.7 million high-tech home earlier this year. The woman was caught and questioned but the singer did not press charges.

However, she apparently managed to acquire Michael's e-mail address as well as other celebrities', and has been inundating him with messages a friend described as "not pleasant."

Police confirmed they were investigating the break-in at George's luxury $4.7 million mansion in Hampstead in northwest London.

Last year, a woman camped beneath the floor of his split-level home and hid there for a four days before leaping out and scaring the former Wham! star into shock. Police were summoned and the woman was arrested when she punched an officer.
