Marvel head Avi Arad said the company planned to market the characters in film, DVD, video game and TV animation. Activision plans to release the video game at the same time as the movie opens and the animated series would premiere after the movie has been released on DVD.

"In between our movie and hopefully its sequels, we will continue to support the brand with DVDs and merchandise and TV series," Arad said.
