Tracey Gold charged with felony DUI

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Actress Tracey Gold has been formally charged with felony driving under the influence after she drove her SUV off a California embankment, injuring her family.

The "Growing Pains" star was charged with a total of three counts, including causing injury while driving with a blood alcohol level in excess of 0.08, and felony child endangerment for her role in the Sept. 3 accident near Los Angeles, TVGuide.com reported Friday.

Gold's husband, Robby Marshall, reportedly had a cervical neck fracture from the accident and two of the couple's children received minor injuries. Their 4-month-old son was uninjured.

Gold is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 19, when she reportedly will plead innocent.
