OKLAHOMA CITY, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Actor Macaulay Culkin, star of "Home Alone," has been charged in Oklahoma City with marijuana possession and possession of a controlled substance.
CNN reported Saturday the former child star was a passenger in a car driven by Brett Tabisel of New York City, which was stopped by police officers on Interstate 44 in Oklahoma City.
The officer said they seized 17.3 grams of marijuana, eight Xanax pills and 16 round white pills identified by police as clonazepam, a sedative used to treat anxiety and seizures. The drug can become addictive and Culkin said he did not have a prescription for it.
Culkin was arrested and released after posting $4,000 bond, while Tabisel was charged with speeding, improper lane change and marijuana possession, police said.
