The couple's publicist confirmed the wedding, but there were no details given and no official word on when the ceremony took place, although People magazine reports Sunday night nuptials, E! Online said.
Brolin, son of James Brolin and stepson of Barbra Streisand, first met Lane nine years ago. Streisand reportedly reintroduced the actors to one another in 2002, which led to the couple's engagement during the Fourth of July weekend in 2003.
This is the second marriage for both.
Brolin is to star in Woody Allen's upcoming film, "Melinda and Melinda," and in an action movie "Into the Blue." He also is scheduled to begin work this summer on a TNT mini-series titled "Into The West."
Lane will star opposite Donald Sutherland in "Fierce People" and has been cast as the lead of "Must Love Dogs," both due out next year.
