Poll: Voters are seeing 'Fahrenheit'

NEW YORK, July 16 (UPI) -- A new poll shows 11 percent of American voters have seen "Fahrenheit 9/11," MoveOn.com said Friday.

The poll, conducted by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, found 6 percent of voters had seen Michael Moore's controversial anti-Bush film during its first two weekends in release. The polling company also said another 33 percent of voters said they intended to see the movie.

According to MoveOn.com, the poll found a third of those who have seen the movie said they voted for President George W. Bush in 2000.

Forty percent of those polled live in so-called battleground states. Thirty-three percent live in "blue" states -- states that went for former vice president Al Gore in 2000 -- and 25 percent lived in "red" states, which went for Bush.

The poll -- which surveyed 1,000 likely voters between July 10-13 -- has a margin of error of 3 points.
