LOS ANGELES, July 10 (UPI) -- Eddie Bauer is joining Hollywood personalities, the Environmental Media Association and the Conde Nast publishing group to celebrate the environment.
Actors Daryl Hannah, Rob Lowe, Amy Smart of "Starsky & Hutch," Christian Slater, Henry Simmons of "NYPD Blue," Melina Kanakaredes of "CSI: New York," Dean Cain of "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" and Peter Horton of "Thirtysomething" will appear in a communications campaign that Eddie Bauer is placing in 13 Conde Nast publications and it's own stores, catalogue and Web site.
The ads feature testimonials from the actors concerning their personal efforts to preserve the environment. The ads call for the public to join the "Explore Your Environment" campaign to protect the environment.
The actors are pictured wearing Eddie Bauer apparel, including a 100 percent organic cotton t-shirt that will be sold in Eddie Bauer retail stores from July 14 to Aug. 25 and at eddiebauer.com through September, with all proceeds benefiting the EMA.
