Headley and Aiken in AIDS benefit

NEW YORK, May 22 (UPI) -- Tony Award winner Heather Headley will be joined by several performers during a one-night-only concert May 24 at the New Amsterdam Theater in New York.

The concert is a benefit for the Children and Family Initiative of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Tickets are priced at $50 to $500.

Included in the line up are: Fox's 2003 "American Idol" runner-up Clay Aiken, Broadway's Adam Pascal of "Rent" and "Side Show's" Norm Lewis. Headley will also welcome the Broadway Inspirational Voices under the direction of "Big River" Tony nominee Michael McElroy.

Headley and Aiken are scheduled to sing "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" from "The Lion King."

Lewis and Headley will sing "Ragtime's" "Sarah Brown Eyes," while Pascal will join Headley for "Aida's" "Written in the Stars."

Headley earned her Tony for her performance in the title role of Disney's "Aida."
