CLEVELAND, April 2 (UPI) -- Pop star Britney Spears has postponed a concert at Cleveland, Ohio's Gund Arena, making it her third recent no-show due to illness or injury.
An announcement on her official Web site said "illness" forced Spears to cancel the gig, which has been rescheduled for June 29, E! Online noted Friday.
Local reports said fans had not heard of the cancellation and showed up at concert time only to be turned away.
A call placed by E! to her label, Jive Records, was not returned Friday.
Last month, the singer was forced to cancel shows in Chicago and Detroit after she injured her knee during a performance of the new song "Boom Boom" at a show in Moline, Ill.
