Seth Green laughs off 'Punk'd' prank

LOS ANGELES, March 29 (UPI) -- Actor Seth Green says his appearance on "Punk'd," the now-defunct MTV celebrity prank show, has given him a "bizarre kind of infamy."

The recently released DVD of "Punk'd" Season One includes an episode in which Green attended a gambling party, then was warned by a man the event was going to be raided by police, and he should leave before they get there.

"I said it on-camera: 'It's kind of intense what you're giving me now. How am I supposed to handle this?' I go back in there and I'm in the room for less than a minute and someone somersaults through the window," he laughed.

The "Scooby Doo 2" actor said he doesn't hold any grudge against the show.

"It gives you a bizarre kind of infamy," he said. "It was so flattering that people went to that much effort to play a joke on me."

Green said he had no problem allowing the stunt to air on TV, adding: "I was like, 'It'll be funny.' And it was."

"I always like to know that I can stand by my actions and I felt like I had," he said. "I felt like I handled myself as best as I could in that situation."
